We have several interesting and timely titles scheduled for release this month. Here are a few:

The revolutionary wave of protests in the Middle East and North Africa that took shape in early 2011 continues to rattle the region and perplex experts and observers alike. The Arab Awakening, due out later this month, brings the full resources of Brookings to bear on making sense of one of the most significant geopolitical and social movements of this generation. This multi-authored title comes from several of the world’s leading experts on the region, including Kenneth M. Pollack, director of the Brookings Saban Center for Middle East Policy and bestselling author; Daniel L. Byman, a Brookings senior fellow and professor at Georgetown University; and Bruce Riedel, a Brookings senior fellow, a senior advisor to four U.S. presidents and author of The Search for al Qaeda (Brookings Press, 2010).

Syria’s Moment of Truth at the Arab League
